Hi, I'm Katy!
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #28768) with 18 years of experience providing specialty mental health care. I hold one of fewer than 1,000 Linehan Board Certifications in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy worldwide, and I work at the intersection of evidence-based treatment, somatic awareness, contemplative parts work and Jungian practice.
My practice is focused and intentional. I work with women and LGBTQ+ adults navigating burnout, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and mood disorders - particularly those who have tried traditional talk therapy before and want something more rigorous and more human.
I do not accept insurance. A limited number of private pay openings are available.
"As a woman in medicine, navigating a career can be intimidating. Katy has helped me progress professionally and also enriched my personal life. She has helped me set goals
I would not have thought possible, moving toward a more balanced, productive and purposeful life.
I’m so grateful to have found her!”
“Katy is one of the most genuinely caring people I’ve met. She always speaks from a place of compassion. She makes it easy to talk about things I’m uncomfortable taking about with other people, but I have never felt judged by her. She is completely understanding and always kind.”
“Katy is so amazing! I was dealing with some serious anxiety about pursuing a professional opportunity, and she helped me get clear of mindset issues that were getting in the way of my ability to move forward. I will definitely work with her again in the future.”
“I am so grateful to have found Katy. She has helped me progress both personally and professionally. She is compassionate and honest, and has shown me that past struggles can lead to a more purposeful and fulfilling life.”
‘It’s obvious that Katy knows her stuff. She lives and breathes what she’s teaching, which really comes through when working with her. I would definitely recommend Katy.’
